Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines how Social Services Trust handles refund requests for donations made through this website. As a non-profit trust, donations directly support ongoing programmes, so we encourage donors to review their contribution carefully before completing a payment.

1. General Policy

Donations made to Social Services Trust are, in general, non-refundable once processed, as funds are allocated towards active programmes shortly after receipt.

2. When a Refund May Be Considered

• The donation was made in error (e.g. duplicate transaction or incorrect amount entered)
• An unauthorised transaction occurred on your payment method
• A technical error on our website resulted in an incorrect or failed-but-charged transaction

3. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you are eligible for a refund under the circumstances above, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction at info@sst-india.org or call +91-6272-295443, with your transaction reference, date and amount.

4. Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed to the original mode of payment within 7–10 working days, subject to your bank or payment provider's own processing timelines.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

• Donations made more than 7 days prior to the refund request
• A change of mind after the donation has been allocated to a programme
• Recurring/monthly donations already processed for the current cycle (future cycles can be cancelled anytime)

6. Cancelling Recurring Donations

If you have set up a recurring donation, you may cancel future instalments at any time by writing to us; this will not affect instalments already processed.
